Developmental disruptions in executive functions play a central role in attention disorders and are an associated feature of learning disabilities, the two most common reasons students are referred for evaluation. This presentation will review the substantial evidence for executive function contributions to each condition, using cases to illustrate the most efficient assessment approaches.
