This micro-credential evaluation is designed to determine whether the participant acquired the expected level of in-depth learning and skill development in identifying specific learning disability (SLD) in the context of culture and language. Completion of this micro-credential demonstrates that the participant has the expected level of knowledge and skills in the following content areas:
- Differentiating difference from disorder
- Case conceptualization when evaluating culturally and linguistically diverse individuals suspected of SLD
- The factors to consider prior to conducting evaluations of culturally and linguistically diverse individuals suspected SLD
